A tour to Kupe Muanenguba Division where you have the only twin lakes in the country and part of the region. An experience you won't forget.
Cameroon has a few number of lakes but when it comes to tourism, lake Muanenguba counts among the first three.
Both lakes are located in Bangem the capital of Kupe Muanenguba Division. These lakes are labeled Twin lakes and at the same time they are called Female and Male because of their closeness. The pleasant shapes and a favorable climatic condition makes it easier for tourists to visit the site daily. Couples with the green vegetation and some few chained mountains in Kupe Muanenguba adds more Beauty to the lakes.
The lakes are significantly recognized by the Bakossi inhabitants of the area and it's also believed the lakes serves as a source of protection. Confirmed from an indigen from the area on wechat, Mr. Epie Ebah" the male lake is very mystical and very difficult to get close to. Indigens and visitor can only use the female lake".
