Happy Chinese New Year. Year of The Monkey.

 Chinese began celebrating the New Year on the 6th of February 2016. Many will prefer to remain indoors while celebrating the New Year. some said  this year is so important to them as it's the year of the monkey.

           The Extremevibes Team makes an effort to interview some chineses students from the University of Science and Technology in Shandong province." This year will be a good year for me. I would rather stay at home with families to celebrate this New Year, more especially I'm ready to receive gifts and red envelopes from my family and friends" Said by Wang Li an IT student.  Another student from the department of Arts says  she's very delightful to witness this New year contrary to her experience last year as she was sick and couldn't participate in any activity during the New year.
        On the other hand life hasn't been fair for some chinese people as they lack means  to finance basic necessities for the New Year. " I'm very sad this year my son fell ill on the 20th of last month since then i had spent so much in the hospital, now i lack money to buy things for the New year" Mr. Sue a farmer.
Gala Night :   The gala this year features 39 performances, all of which went through a vivid  screening process. In a first this year, dancers from the Atlanta-based MorningStar Dance Academy performes on stage. while watching the live performances on TV youths takes the advantage to light up firecrackers.
