A man is facing murder charges after deputies say he shot and killed a man in Humble.
Harris County deputies responded about 9 p.m. Feb. 6 to a shooting in the 1900 block of Cascade House Drive. Deputies said Erron Shamlin, 24 was lying in the street. Paramedics said he had been shot in the chest.
Shamlin was taken by ambulance to Ben Taub Hospital, where he later died.
On Wednesday, deputies arrested Edison Albert Lewis, 20, in connection with the shooting.
The victim's mother said Shamlin is a local rapper.
Investigator said Shamlin lived in the neighborhood, but not on Cascade House Drive. They have yet to uncover a motive for the shooting.Click 4 More of The story
